D-Day minus 1!! (17/11/06):

We acheived what seemed impossible 15months ago, and raised £20000.00 in sponsorship for the Riders for Health charity! D-Day has finally arrived and in less than 24hrs our team will be on their way, along with 130 other riders, to South Africa. We really can't thank everyone who's supported us enough. Your donations were fundamental to us reaching our target. From schools to business to individual acts of kindness and support - thank you all.

Success at Boyne Riders Photo Rally Night(06/02/06):

We'd like to start by thanking Gerry and Lorcan for the great night out we had on Saturday at the Boyne Riders Photo Rally awards night! Everyone at BikeAfrica.Org are in agreement, you two deserve medals for the effort you put in to the organisation of the whole Boyne Riders Photo Rally event.

We also want to thank Gerry and Lorcan, for giving us the opportunity to say a few words during the nights proceedings about BikeAfrica.Org, and offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those in attendance. Our aim was purely to promote our website and maybe get a few people to visit the site, buy a few pens and raise a little money towards our cause. All of us at BikeAfrica.Org were utterly shocked when people we shared our table with, took it upon themselves to go round the room collecting money! Almost 600euro was collected and we really don't know what to say. It's far more than any of us could have expected and we're very much indebted to the folk who shared our table, and everyone who donated on the night. A very special thanks goes to Dave Monagh for his extremely kind donation.

So, thank you Gerry and Lorcan, thank you to those tremendous people who shared our table and thank you to everyone at the Boyne Riders Photo Rally awards night from everyone at BikeAfrica.Org.

BikeAfrica.Org riders achieved 3 gold and 1 silver awards, and Colin also won the Best Photo of the Rally award! You can see his winning photo here, and we hope to have more photos from the night uploaded soon.

BikeAfrica Record Rideout (02/02/06):

BikeAfrica.Org are organising a motorcycle rideout in Northern Ireland, that will be aimed at being the biggest rideout ever seen on these shores. The rideout will take place late Spring / early Summer. The date and route are under wraps still, and will be released mid March. We are also working on a major celebrity to lead the rideout - so stay tuned.
